In Magic: The Gathering, a Set Booster sits between the Draft Booster and Collector Booster in terms of price and pull rates. Introduced in Zendikar Rising, Set Boosters are now part of the regular product line of every set that comes with boosters pending a few exceptions, such as Double Masters 2022.  Set Boosters gear towards players who aren't interested in Draft or Limited, but want the dopamine hit when opening boosters. Collector Boosters also fit this role but come at a higher price point due to the higher pull rates and foil treatments available.  Since Wizards of the Coast realized that half of all opened Draft Boosters weren't used with Limited or Draft in mind, it brought the opportunity to create the Set Booster to fill this space. Set Boosters take the player on a journey as they open the booster and sift through the cards, instead of skimming over the cards to find the rare or mythic rare.  Each Set Booster comes with fourteen cards which twelve are playable Magic: The Gathering cards. The other two slots are an Art card and a Marketing card (or a Token card). Set Booster boxes come in a display of thirty instead of the thirty-six you see with Draft Boosters. Unlike Collector Boosters, there's no seeding for a particular rarity or treatment of cards you could open.
