Features & Benefits
Speedwave 2.0 bonded inside the sole
In the "QUANTUM" utility series, as in the fairway wood series, Speedwave 2.0 was installed inside the head in search of even more speed. Similar to the improved type introduced in ELYTE's fairway woods, the overall width of the toe and heel direction is narrowed, while the distance between the front and rear is set accordingly. In addition, the front end is advanced to the back of the face, and the height raised from the inside of the sole is designed to be as low as possible. This makes it possible to extend the length of the hinge at the bottom of the face cup (the part that bends in an L shape), increasing the amount of deflection and minimizing the loss of ball speed even when impacting at the bottom of the face. It achieves high launch and stable distance performance. In addition, the shallow center of gravity design makes it easier to control the head at impact.
In the utility series, the Speedwave 2.0 is not fixed with screws, but is glued to the inner surface of the sole.
Optifit 4, which has many variations in loft and lie angle settings, is installed in the hosel
Like the ELYTE utility, it is equipped with an adjustable hosel called Optifit 4. Not only does it make it easier for each golfer to get their preferred trajectory, but it also allows you to adjust the distance gap between the positions to a more appropriate one.
Evolved step sole design also
Like the fairway woods of the "QUANTUM", a new brushed up step sole design has been adopted. The central part of the step adopts a shape that is closer to a triangle than a conventional trapezoidal shape. While maintaining the stability of the head at address, the sole is more relaxed.
Continue to introduce AI design cultivated by Callaway
The face introduces the AI design that Callaway has cultivated over many years (dedicated design for each model and number). It is designed by AI while inputting realistic swing data and ballistic data of many golfers, and as the face is more likely to flex due to impact, the control points designed by AI have been further strengthened, and the ballistic correction effect has been more effective than ever. While optimizing the launch angle and spin amount for each RBI, stable ball speed is achieved. It carries the ball farther and narrower range of impact.
A wide range of golfers with a secure head shape and score line
The QUANTUM MAX FAST utility has a slightly larger bulge at the back of the head, and the toe heel has a boxy shape compared to before, giving it a shallow shape. It can be said that it is a head that brings more peace of mind. It is also worth noting that the face has a score line in a different style from the QUANTUM MAX utility, making it easier to set at address. There are more numbers than the QUANTUM MAX utility, and there are six types available: 3H, 4H, 5H, 6H, 7H, and 8H, but the loft angle is set to be one degree more for each number than the QUANTUM MAX utility, making it easier for the ball to rise. Optifit 4 hosel is used in all counts. The toe and heel at the rear end of the sole are also equipped with trapezoidal weights (approx. 3g and approx. 9g).
A wide variety of original shafts for a better fit
It is also important to note that the "QUANTUM" series uses original shafts with a wide variety of flex and weight ranges to provide clubs that are more suitable for each player. This lineup consists of two completely original brands: ATHLEMAX and SPDSTAR. The QUANTUM MAX FAST utility is available in three types: SPDSTAR 50, ATHLEMAX 60, and ATHLEMAX 80g, and is available to cover a wide range of demographics.
