New "Monitor" sound for both listening and monitoring Previous "Monitor" series models have pursued the high level of reproducibility and precision required on stage and in music production settings. This model inherits that philosophy while also focusing on listening performance that is "enjoyable to listen to" like the classic models of yesteryear. This model realizes a new tuning concept called "listening monitor," which combines accurate monitoring performance that meets professional use with a comfortable everyday music experience. All-round design with Myrinx EL-B driver This model is equipped with the newly developed "Myrinx EL-B driver." An evolution of the original Myrinx EL, it delivers rich low frequencies, natural vocals, and well-defined high frequencies while maintaining a spacious sound field and airy feel. The diaphragm uses a thin-film molded dome made from a beryllium alloy. Its delicate expressiveness and high response enable more accurate monitoring than ever before. High-precision 3D printing and metal parts create a robust and beautiful shell design The clear shell is molded using a medical-grade, high-precision 3D printer, achieving a beautiful, transparent finish and a custom IEM-like fit. The nozzle is made of high-hardness stainless steel, and the faceplate is made of aluminum, both of which have been buffed to give them a beautiful metallic luster. The compact design is common to all models in the series, fitting naturally to a wide range of ear shapes and providing a comfortable fit even during extended listening sessions. ​ *Due to the characteristics of plastic parts, very small bubbles may be seen, but this does not affect the quality. ​ High-quality cable "ARM021" & Pentaconn Ear Long-Type The included cable is a specially designed "ARM021" cable made of silver-coated high-purity Litz wire and braided Kevlar fiber. It is soft and easy to handle, and its PU coating and twisted structure reduce the risk of breakage. The connector uses the "Pentaconn Ear," a high-performance connector for IEMs designed and manufactured by Nippon Dicks Co., Ltd. Compared to the widely used MMCX connector, the plug and jack are designed to be closer together, resulting in lower contact resistance and stable signal transmission for high-quality sound reproduction. In addition, the long-type structure (Pentaconn Ear Long-Type) prevents sweat and moisture from penetrating the connection area, minimizing contact failure and oxidation problems even in harsh environments. AET ear tips for a superior fit and acoustic experience Two types of AET ear tips are included, which are also used as references for Acoustune development. The silicone ear tips "AET07" combine sound quality and a comfortable fit, while the foam ear tips "AET02" provide a high level of sealing. New package style using aluminum sleeve The package includes the same compact synthetic leather carrying case that was well received with the AS2002 USB-DAC. The outer box has been eliminated, and the product is enclosed in an aluminum sleeve, a first for Acoustune, adopting a sophisticated packaging style.
